Mon-Sat:    9am - 5pm

Sunday  :    10am - 4pm

Plant Centre is open to public and for trade purchases at weekends. For trade a valid account card is required.

Plants for everyone

Opened on the current site almost 30 years ago, Barters offers all the plants one would expect to find in a plant centre with the added bonus that many are home-grown in our wholesale nursery, hidden away from public view. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are on hand to give you all the help you need.

Trade Cash & Carry

If you are a trade customer, the Plant Centre acts as a cash and carry. Should you want a wider range of plant material than is available on the wholesale nursery and to be able to select plants yourself, then the Barters Showroom is for you.

Email orders

The retail plant centre is also open for orders to be placed by email - for delivery or collection.

We are working on a refit that will open the whole retail area for wheeled access - this will be completed in 2024. We regret that until then wheelchairs will have to contend with gravel and other terrain. Our team are happy to help, please ask.
